Julieta Ulanovsky was inspired by the old posters and signs in the traditional district of Montserrat in Buenos Aires to design this typeface. The Montserrat project started with the idea of saving what is in Montserrat and releasing it under a free license, the SIL Open Font License. This family has two sister families: Alternates and Subrayada.

Styles : Thin, Extra-light, Light, Regular, Medium, Semi-bold, Bold, Extra-bold, Black. With italic versions.
